Very early one morning, Gian was found alone at Shadow Rock Dog Park — tiny, terrified, and dangerously close to becoming coyote prey.
He wouldn't let anyone near him, but he walked over to sniff Susie and Geno through the fence, giving me the chance to safely grab him. Those two would later become his foster brother and sister. 🐾
Thankfully, Pawsitive Difference stepped in to help. We searched for his family for over 30 days, but nobody ever came for him.
Maybe that's because Gian had already chosen his family from the very beginning. ❤️
Today, he's officially adopted by his foster family, has gained 15 pounds, recovered from severe stomach issues, and is living his best spoiled life.
When Gian's mom first met him, he did this little gesture with his paws… and she said her heart melted instantly.
Some dogs don't just find a family…
